Students who desire the benefit of an undergraduate education in the liberal arts and sciences prior to pursuing a more technical or specialized degree and career are able to take advantage of several dual degree programs and academic partnerships that Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» has with other universities.
Students interested in a path to engineering should consult the site.
Applicants to this program are offered two options; each results in an undergraduate engineering degree, but the latter adds an engineering master’s degree.
In the first option, students spend three or four years at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and two years at the (WashU). In the dual bachelor's degree program, the student receives two degrees, a Bachelor of Science (or Bachelor of Arts) from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from WashU, after completing a 3-2 or 4-2 plan (three or four years at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» followed by two years at WashU).
Students who opt for a 3-3 plan (three years at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and three years at WashU) will receive a Bachelor of Science from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in engineering from WashU. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students accepted into the 3-3 program will receive tuition discounts at WashU that start at 50%.
